"The worst appointment I've been to at in the last 15 years"
I visited Dr. Somova for what I believed was a routine exam to check a cavity. I expected a consultation and a treatment plan; instead, she began drilling my tooth immediately without any discussion or my consent to start the procedure. She insisted on drilling without anesthesia, claiming it would be "painless" despite the cavity being deep. She eventually reached the nerve, causing excruciating pain. While her assistant sprayed cold water directly onto the exposed nerve, my visible signs of distress and sounds of pain were completely ignored. The lack of professionalism was staggering. While I was crying and shaking in the chair, Dr. Somova and her assistant were laughing and gossiping with each other. Dr. Somova even looked away from my mouth while laughing, all while holding sharp instruments inside my mouth. I felt completely trapped and silenced. I am now in significant pain and will be seeking a second opinion to assess the damage. This was not just a bad experience; it was a total breach of medical ethics and professional neglect.
